For the choices here, I would pick the Turbo S. In black. But, the all-time best looking Porsche droptop (in my opinion) is a tie between the America Roadster and old Speedster. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This. Although I like the Turbo S (not a big fan of Boxsters) Lots of other great cabriolets though. 935 cabrio, 356, 914 (would that count ) 944 Cabs have potential too.
With the exception of the tail, light strip, and air scoops, there really isn't much difference between the 4S and the Turbo. Although most of the 911 lineup has the same basic/identical shape.....since the start I for one think the shapes are beautiful and one reason they haven't had to change it much.
Looks like I should have titled this poll: best looking NEW Porsche cabriolet. And I should have included the Boxster Spyder* in the choice list. Sorry. *Great car perhaps for So. California but where I live not practicle as the weather can can change around the next mountain. No time to get out and fiddle with put up the top manually IMVHO.
Of your choices, the 997 cab is the cleanest aesthetically. Among Porsches, I like this one though (photo credit DK Engineering): Image Unavailable, Please Login
From those, I choose the 4S. My real choice would be the Boxster Spyder! Image Unavailable, Please Login
can I pick my 1987 Slopenose cab instead? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
in the case of the Cayman and especially the 911 series, Porsche cars are BETTER LOOKING as coupe's in my opinion...anyone else see it that way?
Agree, the cabs look cobbled up. Agree, the Cayman is the best looking P-car going. If I had to pick the best looking cab, I suppose it would be the 968 cab.
Probably a minority opinion, but this one was parked at the PCA tent at Coronado last year and it is a really striking car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
