From what I've seen of post WW2 cars the hardest aspect to design is the rear end. Curious to know what people would nominate as the best looking rear end of any car? Here are two of my favorites: 206SP and 1964 GTO. Let's see some pics of your favorite rears! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I refuse to adhere to the file size limits with regards to this thread, because I feel this ass needs to be seen in full resolution... I could stare at it for hours... It is, in my opinion, the most beautiful ass ever... Without further adieu... Click here...
being a child of the 80's, i've always had a thing for the Testarossa rear. (from Tutto Italiano, Aug 2006) C Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
What more can I say? Pretty sure it's a pontoon fender Testa Rossa. Bob Z. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I nominate the 1966 Corvette fastback coupe (note - not the split window) and ++ on the Ferrari 275GTB/4, especially the spyder version. ++ on the Tom Meade roadster. He more than made up for some earlier George Barris tendencies there. Now, a polite question on the Napolis car - did I not see this in the original version with the exhausts horizontally out the back valence? Now they are up out the NACA-like ducts and turned back. Was this done for a technical reason, or just a style preference? James
I noticed earlier renderings had a chopped rearward bevel on P4/5....ala early 1918 racers by some guy named Chevrolet... I never would have mentioned it................ It'll spill into a flush protective plate of some sort now, like the F1 configuration???????? I always thought the "steamship stacks" looked a little 'off', but were to avoid scorching the rear spoiler...... *whispering* I was gonna mention it quietly, over some crawfish etouffe, next time we met......
I'd throw this one in, its a highly mod'ed 308GT4 just posted in the 308 section for sale in Germany (Switzerland?). I really like the GT4 and the tires and body package give it an agressive look. Plus, the mountains in the background make the shot, but unfortunately, you can see the cameraman in the reflection :-(. Link is posted in 308 section under "another GT4 on ebay" I think.
