What is the most reliable and secure method to accept payment for a car sale when the buyer is from Europe? Thanks.

Wire transfer directly to your bank or US escrow company with very clear instructions as to how and when they must transfer money to you.

I'd recommend replying to the emails from the Sultan or King or Prince from Anyukabuba in Southern Africa as they will assure you get your money safely and in full.

99% of the time these are scammers who will send you a check for x amount and ask you to return y amount to them. Some of them will ask you for your bank info to do a wire transfer and then set up an account under your name or access your account. My suggestion is to stay away from it, if you really think this person is genuine, use escrow and be very very cautious, the minute it starts sounding fishy, run Forrest, run.

    www.xe.com

I just bought a Fcar today :):):) I paid with money from Australia and I sent it through www.xe.com to Austria. No problems at all. It takes a while to sign up, but its the normal security checks! Once its done, tansfer from AU to EU was super fast, 4 days or less. I checked on the 4 day. Evey cent was there. Very low rates.
