Good morning. Just thought I would get some feedback and thought processes from the community…. As far as pairing a mid engine Ferrari with a Roma. The Roma is driven casually, going out to dinner/ date night, weekend daily driving, cars, and coffee, etc.… The mid engine would serve as weekend spirited drives, weekly use once or twice, mountain twisty drives, probably won’t see any track time…… Power wise… 458 is plenty enough, handling, comfort, tech, etc.… Same. Ferrari sound is important, but not a deal breaker. I’d say the sound ranks second in attributes with aesthetics, and timelessness above sound. Going between F8 coupe, 458 coupe or spider. OR Heck with both…. Trade the Roma and get 296GTB All thought processes are welcomed. Thanks all HAGWE
I’m sayin F8 with the Roma…. I’m trying to figure out a way to add a Roma to my F8 as a daily driver… I didn’t care for them at first but it’s grown on me if I intend to use as a daily driver to work n back etc. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I’ve never used the word ‘burnt’ or ‘learnt’ — they aren’t words and I’m a grammatical genius. Shaddup Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I'm considering removing the turbos from my car before they explode and adding nitrous instead. I don't think it'll affect the warranty since there are no turbos to warranty.
F8 with the Roma would be nice. F8 with a 812SF and maybe the Roma would be perfect. Please don’t mention the 296 again. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
100% agree- ideally I’d love the 812 with my F8 and a Roma daily…. But I’m a broke dreamer…. And good luck finding a nicely spec’ed F8 for 330-350 Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I traded in a Roma for an F8 spider, not sure I saw much of a use case to keep both. But maybe that's because I would rather have an SUV for a daily.
F8, last of non-hybrid v8. Low spec F8s are going over msrp ($50-70k overage). I can give you examples from preowned Ferrari website: $305 msrp, asking $350k.. $325k msrp, asking $389k, so on. I have purchased F8 last week, after 4 months of search. High specs are worth it if you can afford that ($375k+). High specs are usually at msrp. I read someone noted 488 Pista, its too many. Ferrari made so many of them. I passed on Pista and went with F8. F8T + GT3RS = Weekend Heaven p.s., 296GTB: just ignore it.. Good luck!!
You already have a turbo. I would recommend 458 or 458S if budget not an issue. Experience the NA motor. Compared to the newer cars they are so much more raw and visceral.
