I'm looking for a good place to build a wishlist at, give the list to my dad, and have him be able to go to the site and pick some out and get me some for Xmas (I hope!). Mainly looking for Autoart but a variety would be awesome.

    My hopes:
    Nismo 350 Z-Tune
    JGTC Xanavi Skyline
    STi WRC
    McLaren Mercedes SLR
A few more exotics (but not too exotic, as it stands my collection is entirely Ferrari except for a Viper and two Porsches, looking to expand it)
Maybe a few other imports and hopefully a Mk II GT40 (not new GT)
    A 575GTC or 550 Prodrive (unfortunately I don't think there are any)
Grr just found out the 935 and 300SL are both over 100 bucks :(
    917k would be cool
    Mebe a Cobra that's not 190 bucks :(

Got any ideas? BTW I would like to keep my collection 1:18.

I just find out that despite how crappy Exoticar's site is, all you need is the product number to find what you need. Sweet.

ewacars.com in New Jersey has a wide variety to choose from. replicarz.com also has a good selection (never had a problem with either store).

You can get a prodrive 550 in red or olive garden green, but it'll have to be 1/43. Anything 1/18 I've ever seen along those lines was strictly a 1-off job, IIRC.

MG models is the only company I know that makes 1/18 scale 550's and 575's. However they are resin kits and probably way out of your budget if you want to spend under $100. You can either build them or get factory built's made by MG. Or you could get them custom built. The kits are around $180 and the builts are around $500. Custom builts can run more dpending on what kind of details you need.

    You can see them here:

They do 1:18 scale cars exclusively. Great selection and great prices. I've dealt with the owner Kevin and he's a great guy. Dependable and reliable service. If you see it on the website it means he carries it and if it has a price next to the description (instead of "Out of stock") it means it's probably has in stock.

My personal recommendations, especially for Ferrari models, is Kyosho (for street Ferraris and one or two competition versions) and Exoto for F1 models. Of course Exotos are quite expensive but unfortunately there aren't many other options. Minichamps did do some 312T4s in 1:18 scale but they're rare, less detailed (read more plastic, less metal, and less finished parts), and almost as expensive as Exoto's on the private market.
