I'm also curious where I can host the larger hi-res pictures for free.
My camera typically makes 2.3mb jpg files (3872 x 2592).
I've been using imageshack but their max size is much smaller than that.
Does Fotki allow free uploading of this size?

I use the other one, f.l.i.c.k.r. and it is pretty functional. The biggest drawback is that you can't go over 1024x768 (it will resize them accordingly) or more than 200 pictures unless you upgrade to a pro account for $25/year. Over the weekend I was at a Concours and just went over 200 pictures, so I finally bought the pro account. Overall I have no complaints.

I dig ******, mainly because of the ease of uploading in their apps and seeing friends photos and their updates. It is also easy to click on 'medium' for the size of the image and copy and paste the code for posting up in blogs etc. Just fast that way.

    SoCal, finally!
I've been using Kodak's "easyshare" for the last 1.5 years and have no complaints about them. It's free too. Another car board I'm on also offers unlimited free hosting as well so I'll alternate between the two.

****** Pro Account. If the photos are that important to you for hosting and posting, it's easy to pay the $20/yr for the capabilities ****** offers.
