Dear All, Time has come to move on from Hong Kong to Singapore, I have a 2002 Masser coupe 4.2, to sell, as trying to import a car into to Singapore is proving to be a logistical nightmare not to mention the eyewatering import duty. From everyones experience what is the best route to selling ? privately, main dealers, car supermarket, or these upmarket car specialist. or if anyone who has imported a car to singapore can spoon feed me on the procedures. For your info its a: Titanuim Grey, with black leather, F1 gearbox, 22K mileage, and still under manufaturers warranty. Regards Rick Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Rick, you can go to www.onemotoring.com.sg the site shows you how you are able to import a car into Spore. The rules and regulations are there. All the best dude, and hope to see your Maser on Spore roads.
Thanks for the info, I have checked the date of my registration and it looks like I have another 2 months before the car is 3 years old. I wonder if it will take more than 2 months to ship the car out, get all the paper work, test etc sorted,? Can you imagine shipping it out, getting the final stamp on my paper work and turn up at Singapore Car registration and find I am 1 day over the 3 year rule!! I will keep digging and maybe start a whole new thread on the diary of importing a car to Singapore. Rick
