Since this is such a popular topic, I ask you to rate the top QBs in the NFL. 1) Peyton Manning 2) Tom Brady 3) Tony Romo 4) Carson Palmer 5) Brett Favre
I think its in regards to the 8 games the teams have played, and not the overall accomplishments. But still Romo>Farve.....??
Here's a better list.... 1 Manning 2 Brady 3 Farve You really can't look at just one season, that's not what makes a great QB or team.
Brady is on pace to set the record. Manning has a great arm Favre is the nostalgic favorite but still has plenty of game to back it up Romo is a novelty with potential Palmer got paid and moved to Cincinnati......
I'm a Colts fan, but I'll route for Dallas if they're not playing the Colts.....figure I should since I live here right? It's really been hard to like Jones ever since he got rid of Jimmy Johnson, it's just not been the same Cowboys to me since then. In reguards to the origional question, I still stick with Manning, Brady and Farve. Romo has yet to prove himself consistantly to me, 3 great games doesn't make you a great QB, 3 great seasons does.
I think he's comparing Culpepper and Romo We'll see what he does now that he's not playing for a contract, and once TO implodes which will happen sooner or later.
Lol, this is true, I'd rather have Romo than Campbell right now....that said I still think Campbell has a lot of potential. That does not change the fact that I would still much rather have Brady or Manning than Romo.
Romo is still wet behind the ears. One decent season does not make him good. Favre and the others have proven themself over a few years. Romo can join the list after 5 years if he's still good then. Till then, he's not to be compared to Manning or Brady.
Brady is the best. Look at the numbers. http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystatstabSeq=1&statisticPositionCategory=QUARTERBACK&season=2007&seasonType=REG
Numbers don't mean $h**, Brett Favre has many QB records but is nowhere near Montana, Marino, Staubach, Aikman, or Romo .
Actually numbers are about the only things that do matter....numbers and Rings. Things that Montana, Aikman, Staubach, Farve, Brady and Manning all of at least one of. Marino unfortunately never won a Super Bowl but made up for it by setting every career record that existed. Romo's hand and record book page are both eerily empty
