    Escort 9500i here too, would recommend getting one to anyone. Ive always heard V1 were good detector but never used. I remember my dad had one in the 80's and I though the arrows were cool but now that I drive I'm just concerned about accuracy over if its coming from front or behind. Has V1 design been updated or still look like did in 80'S?

    I have software update and J-mode. Although I am still a few years out on the update. I need to check to see if there has been another update.

    For the best protection, I think you need both a Valentine One AND a jammer device....

    As for the root of the thread, easily a Valentine 1. Every car I own has a V-1 hardwired under the passenger side visor.
