I have to add Benu in San Francisco...a 3 star Michellin, every bit comparable to my French Laundry experience.
Cantina in middletown CT is the best italian food in the U.S. It's the closest thing to having a Nonna cook for you if your not italian, and they have some great sicilian dishes. A few celebrity faces like Deniro show up from time to time, and there's no experience out there like it. Anyone from around there should go and try the pasta cantina and fried Mozz. It's absolutely to die for!
Never "fancy," but certainly some of the best & freshest seafood on the planet. Plus? Those garlic rolls with passion fruit juice were to die for!
I've been all over the world, tasting menus galore. And this one is still in my top 3 Home - Mister B's Pizzeria Restaurant Pizza Wings Niagara Falls, NYMister B's Pizzeria Restaurant Pizza Wings Niagara Falls, NY Leave your firearms in the car
I am back to Boulevard in San Francisco, as California just lifted their 2 year ban on Foie Gras...plan on pairing with a nice Sauternes tonight!
If you like meat, this is the place I've heard the most about. It's called Beast Beast: Portland Restaurant Guide 2014 T
Just was in NYC had dinner at Daniel and Per Se... have to say that Per Se was better again! Daniel experience was great but couple of the dishes on the tasing menu were just so so, abalone was very chewey, and the Squab was also very rubbery... I like it rare, but it was actualy hard to cut. but overall it was a great experience. Per Se - was just faultless. I could have stayed for ever, some of the best Foie Gras ever, and Chestnut gnocchi outstanding.

Aw yes! Foie gras!!! Went to the Little Door in L.A., quite good! Recently went to Bazaar Meats at the SLS Hotel in Vegas. Fantastic meat spread, everything was delectable. The Wagyu beef was to die for. Sent from my 16M
It's in the lobby of the Nashville Omni hotel downtown. I think it is the best steak house in town, but I have not been to Kayne Prime. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=2058473&stc=1&d=1429615865 Image Unavailable, Please Login

Dons de la Nature (Tokyo) Kohaku (Tokyo) The Ledbury (London) Shinji by Kanesaka (Singapore) Le Chateaubriand (Paris) Gramercy Tavern (New York)
Ledbury was good, I enjoyed Fat Duck overall more however. Can't go wrong either way and two different experiences. If you're in Singapore check out Andre as well.
True. Andre is very good as well. And so are Les Amis and Jaan (before Julien Royer left) in Singapore. I have not been to Fat Duck but Dinner by Heston Blumenthal in London was a major disappointment. Other favourites of mine are: Peter Luger (NYC) Kyubey (Tokyo) Nahm (Bangkok)
