After attending the Karting event, which was a lot of fun and the Ferrari Club swept all three podium spots, I drove home and took the long way to Enumclaw. I was thinking it might be a good idea to post some of our favorite roads. A short fun drive is "Mud Mountain Road" which you can find by going towards Enumclaw on Hwy 410, then as soon as you pass over the river, just outside of Buckley, you turn right onto Mud Mountain Road. The road winds through some senic farm, horse land and eventually comes to a T. At the stop, you should turn right and follow the road as it twists and turns, until it eventually hits another stop sign, at which you could turn right and go into the Mud Mountain Damn park, or, if you turn left....it follows a nice road back to highway 410. At Hwy 410 you would hang a left and follow it back into Enumclaw and there are numerous road options at that point.

Hopefully as the weather gets better, I will find some lengthier routes and post them. Anyone else know of some fun back roads?

Thanks for the back road suggestions. People in the club know a lot of backroads that are pretty fun. Keep you eyes peeled for "breakfast club" outings or other drives that are posted here. Several members of the club meet often to go on these impromptu back road drives.

We drive quite a few routes. Specifics are generally not discussed on a public forum such as this one.

I suppose it is nice to keep the specifics to ourselves.

Willis likes to operate in stealth mode:), but there are some slow-poke roads for us folks with the slower cars...the ones where you can hear the birds singing, see your gal's girls, see the clouds go by, smell the cat-less car ahead... . This old post might refresh our ideas:

All this makes me long for those warmer days, although I bet we haven't seen the last of winter just yet!

Only for those days that we want to blow the carbon out of those exhaust tips...remind's me of Spasso's photo of his blue and gray exhaust tips after one of these famous drives.

    Stealth is always good. :)

Actually, I prefer a good mix of twisties and straights that satisfy owners of both newer and older cars. Most of the gang, who have driven with me on some of my routes, could attest to that.
