My wife and I are looking at going to Monza, wrote a post earlier on where to sit. We know the grandstand we want now but want to get seats high up. We've looked on line and all of the brokers don't specify the row and seat numbers before purchase, just the grandstand. Obviously forking out $500 for each of the tickets only to show up and find out we are low in the stands behind a structural I-beam would be very dissapointing.
Does any ticket broker out there specify the exact seats? When we bought tickets at the USGP they at least broke it down to lower 10 rows and upper rows, thus you paid more for the higher seats. Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks for the help. Glen

Go directly to www.monzanet.it for tickets to the Italian GP. You can try calling them, but generally, all you can do is request a location, i.e. higher row in the grandstand you choose. In the past, Europeans like to sit the lower rows, I like to be up high, so I always lucked out with great high seats.

You really can't request specific seats for an American track either.

If you purchase your tickets for the USGP on the Indy site, it tells you row, seat numbers - don't like what you see, search again - no price differential for rows 1-10 and 10+ - costs are spelled out in the drop-down menu for seating areas.

Regarding European races - we've had excellent dealings purchasing directly from the circuit (just received our Imola tickets and we got our same seats again this year and have requested for '07 also). We've purchased from www.gpticketshop.com and Marc has always been extremely helpful. Grand-Prix tickets has been very helpful too. We just ask for high and aisle and that's what we've gotten.

Thanks for the help. It gives me more confidence knowing you have both had success with these sites. We'll go ahead and check with both and book our tickets. Thanks again, Glen
