I'm not sure what the deal is with the built in floor, because the stock consoles, and ours too, have removable floors so you can access the attachment points underneath. Also, we use a leather or Alcantara covered floor so your keys and phone and whatever else won't slide around. The covering is wrapped around a carbon fiber panel in case anyone cares.

Hell yes we care:D:D After all it was you who was pointing out the differences in the way your product was made compared to the others.
Great thread this by the way, very informative. But the way i see it with all the evidence posted. All 3 Carbon distributors on here, more or less produce the same quality of goods. Which is good information for the buying public who can spend thousands on a handful of bits and pieces. Though some parts are considerably more expensive and some considerably more cheaper in price.
I would buy my Carbon for both my Ferraris from anyone of you:)

I would say that the pictures all look pretty similar, but the quality, workmanship, and construction techniques vary wildly. Of course I think ours is the best - there is no other reason I even bother with this stuff.

I was going to cover my interior parts with carbon fiber, but in the end did not to due to the awkward looking (in my opinion) treatment of the diagrams on the HVAC plate. Like many others on this board, I ended up having the HVAC replaced with a Ricambi overlay & had the other plastic parts repainted. I had 285Ferrari put on the overlay (he did a great job for $250 and turned it around in a few days!) and had my local bodyshop match the paint to the HVAC cover/texture. I really like the stock look; 285Ferrari was really great and the body shop used a heavy duty/durable paint. FIrst pic is of my old plate.

    Nice........very nice!

+1......I agree that CF looks too busy...... this brushed finish looks a lot better than CF ....... BUT ............ just like CF...... it may likely get 'over used' as well.....
