What have you all had luck with in upgrading the suspensions of your F430?

I judge want a little crisper turn in with a bit less roll through the corners. That’s really all.

I’m hesitant to do lowering springs because I don’t know who to bring the car to for an alignment. Don’t you need special shims or something?

    Any decent sway bar upgrades?

They generally are fine the way they are- jack the wheels up one at a time and check for wear in the upper and lower ball joints, track rod ends, tie bars etc as the oem bits are dreadful for wear.

rear roll bar can be replaced with scud versions, but I doulbt u'd notice anything, not everybody's schumacher.
if you want less roll, spring replacement is a must.

You don't need to replace suspension components if that's all you want to achieve. Just get it to an alignment shop and ask them to bring the front toe in, camber in (negative camber), straighten the caster (more vertical), and add air to all four tires (use max inflation pressure notes on the tire). Wouldn't hurt to lower it a bit (if it's stock) and corner balance it too.

Geo setup makes a difference but it really does depend on the roads you use and your usual driving speed range.

    What everyone else suggested:
    • Improved geometry
    • Replace all worn out suspension components
    • Sticky modern rubber (MPS4S, RE71R, MPSC2, etc)
Then new shocks and springs all round. Nitron or KW.
