    Traditionally, the ICF Committee would wait until this year's extravaganza to announce new elements for the following year. However, we have been gratified by the great response to this year's 'Best Spider Challenge' and we wanted to make an early announcement about '08.

    For 2008, ICF will hold a national competition to answer the question: Of Ferrari Testarossa cars, who owns the best?

    The goal will be to highlight this wonderful model. We will ask owners of these great cars to converge upon ICF 2008 where we hope to find the absolute best. Contestants can be assured of fabulous awards, a hallmark of ICF special projects.

    I regretfully report that I will have to undergo some psychological treatment before participating. I was deeply hurt at the Broadway show when several young boys pointed out that my car was missing the right hand rear view mirror, and that my little horsie on the rear grille was not chrome plated.

    I will be ok in time.

    This is a pre-planning type of thing for 2008, so we can make announcements for visitors and entrants about what to expect for the 2008 weekend.

    We don't have all the details for the Challenge worked out at this time (will TRs and Ms be included? prizes? etc.).

    James, what was your response to the lost mirror episode? Probably the Harley exhaust you were racing that clouded the Prancing horse!:)
    Let's see yellow/black, rosso/tan, yellow/blue or new addition---decisions, decisions. Oh well there is a year and two weeks to decide. If a friend of mine enters his 88.5 with 2k miles he just might wipe up the competion.
    Should be very interresting, if this is the gauntlet for next years show I might put off the sale of a car. Looks like 2008 will be a very good year for ICF.

    Now Don, you know very well that I never race with other vehicles on the public streets.

    What I think will probably happen in my case is to lobby for a special award - (car most loaded down with vintage electronic accessories). This category I think I should have all to myself.
