Okay everyone. My local tire shop (Peterson Tire in Des Plaines) has gone out of business. I'm looking for someone I can trust to do mounting, balancing, etc. of these crazy Italian alloy wheels without scuffing them up. It also needs to be someone who isn't spooked by old knock-off Campagnolos. Any suggestions? I'm in the northwest suburbs. Thanks.

Right by the Porsche dealership... on US-41 in Highland Park, close to the Target store. Phone 847-433-5700

Dunno about "best", but IMO these folks are "pretty good".

Have been taking larger size wheels / tires to them for awhile now. Am pretty happy with their service, and trust them to take care my shoes. Big wheels with low-profile rubber AND banded-on sensors -- no problem.

Ask for "Sahag" (tech) or "Chuck" (manager) -- both great guys.
    Tell them Manuel sent ya.

PS -- if they're good enough for Michael Jordan's rides, they can probably cut the mustard. Not sure about Campagnolos, but would think they can handle them.

Ed installed the Bridgestone's on my 308 and did a great job. I have asked him about installing TRX's on the 512BBi when it needs them, and he said he could do it with no problem. The 512 has knock-off's, so I would second Skip's recommendation.
    Good luck Daryl
