Best Tires for a 308 GTB

At a mere $400 per tire u can have the original. I instead will buy some 16 inch replica wheels & move to a cheaper more modern tire.

 

205/70 R 14 isn't hard to find. The metric wheels are a pain, but not the 14"

The Goodyear guys start with a racing slick, and hand cut the grooves for me......a lot cheaper than $400.........

Where is a good place to get these?

 

It is if you want a "V" (150+mph) rated tire. The ones in your link are T and S (112mph) and the Sumitomo is "H" (130mph). Coker is the only one that is "V" rated.

 

Is that for a 14" 308 wheel? Details please! I can't find the date code on my current 308 tires so I don't know their age, but they are vary hard and slip under aggressive braking. Very unsafe and scary!

 

Go to tirerack.com. They have a few 14 inch original size tirs for your car. I just bought Firestone affinity tires for my car (130 MPH). There prices are great.
