I purchased a 2007 Ferrari GTB Fiorano yesterday and they installed brand new Pirelli P Zero tires. Good tires, although I personally prefer Michelin Pilot super sport.
I will only use the car for shows and possibly a rally.
what are your thoughts on your choice in the BEST (price a non issue) tire for my Ferrari. I’d prefer a beefy race type tire considering the car is not used much.
    thanks ya’ll!

    presume you mean pirelli pzero?

if its just a show car and you like the pirellis you are fine as is.

    enjoy the car

Yes I fixed it lol thanks. Of course they are fine, I need better than fine, I like the best. I reached out here to get everybody’s personal opinions on THEIR favorite tire.
    And thank you!

    Michelin Pilot Sport 4S.

But I'm confused. Is there something to be gained from having "the best" tires on a show car? Particularly when it involves changing from perfectly good, brand new tires?

Whilst this feels like it could be a troll type question I suspect it is not - how about as an answer your owners manual mentions PZero so why not stick with that as being the most authentic for show.....

Michelin is due to release a pilot sport 5 soon. PS4’s are possibly a tad better than super sports. For a daily drive car, they seem to offer the best all around performance. If you are just doing summer driving, cup2’s are superior

Please beware of the confusion introduced by Michelin ;) - currently there are the PS4, successor to the PS3 and targetting high performance GTs / sedan cars, and the PS4S, successor to the PSS and targetting sportier cars... So, if the PS5 you mention is the successor to the PS4, it's not relevant for real sports cars.

I notice quite a bit of a difference visually between the 4s and the pilot super sports as I have them brand new on my Maserati. I guess I’m just over detailed. Personally I feel there is a gain of visual pleasure. I’m curious on other peoples takes on what they use.

If all you care about is how the tires look then what do you need our opinions for? We drive our cars and our opinions are based on performance, not looks.

My thoughts exactly, this car will rarely be driven at all.

If the car will rarely be driven, then the OEM tire is the best thing imo. Italian tire with Italian car. The way Enzo envisioned it. Btw, P-Zero is actually a good tire, contrary to popular belief on many forums (Rennlist and bimmerpost included). Tirerack put both tires head to head and the P-zero actually out performed the PS4S in the wet (which is where most people say the Michelin is better).

At the end of the day, it sounds like you want PS4S so just do it already and close the thread

As your car will not be driven but will be a show pony my 2 cents is that you keep the Pirelli's as they are original fitment on the 599.

Hey bro, first, if it’s a negative response why bother? If it’s not your interest to respond or deal with, why bother responding? If it’s not something to your taste or liking, don’t bother responding to the thread. Secondly you’re not speaking for every 599 or Ferrari owner when you say you specifically have the car for performance and not looks at all. That’s clearly a false statement considering you’re speaking for everybody. You are incorrect. I sincerely do not believe that Ferrari owners solely by the car for 100% performance and 0% looks. Thirdly the car is in tiptop shape when it comes to performance, considering so, I like to detail and enhance the visual aspect of it. Don’t like my questions? Mind ya peace

Okay, sorry for the offense. But when you go on a public forum and ask "what are your thoughts on..." then that's what you're going to get. You have WAY overstated the meaning of my comment, but I'll take your advice and not give any more input to your inquiries, bro.
