Friends…..I did a quick search and I didn’t see a listing of Bay Area tunnels…..

My 550 is hopefully going to be done Saturday and I’ve had Fabio’s exhaust installed so I need to go and make a tunnel rip and associated video.

    I’ll start…

the short tunnel leaving San Jose Airport

    the tunnel to walnut creek

    the tunnel to alameda

    Broadway tunnel in San Francisco….

Rainbow tunnel after the GG bridge to Marin

tunnel from golden gate park area towards the bridge.

I remember a small “Barry baker tunnel” shortly after the GG in Marin.

please add to the list….especially San Jose south!

280/92 interchange. I don't remember exactly. Try west on 92 then south on 280.

    Thanks for sharing that video!

My wife and I moved to San Francisco in 2001 -- then Oakland then San Jose then south (Los Gatos). I had to google the tunnel near Devils Slide especially after your video. I am almost certain I've actually never driven that tunnel which is surprising since in the 2000's I drove the 1 a lot but haven't done that stretch since the tunnel was completed (I guess in/about 2013?).

Thanks to all that have shared. Gonna have some fun when the car is back/done.

Don't get too crazy here. CHP cruiser often posted at the tunnel exit to catch 280S traffic. Same with Devils Slide.

sound bouncing off retaining walls in the mtns is a good alternative ;). Low traffic, great weather and the best scenery ever
