And a well sorted 365 GT4 2+2 still is cheaper to maintain than an unsorted 308 GTS QV.

Trust me on this one my friends...

Drive one before you cast them off.

Besides, if the smile is there, who cares what it looks like...

I've got roughly $100k in the three that I have. My recommendation is that if you have that much to spend, get at least two that are different and appreciate the fact that Ferrari knows how to make more than one type of car...

You might want to check out the responses to this thread. Your first step should be to find somebody in the bidness who you can trust.

However, don't play the waiting game. I fiddled around about buying a Daytona when you could buy one for $125k all day long. Sad to say that I fiddled too long.

Just a reminder: a full professional restoration of one of these cheap cars will run in excess of $150K so buy wisely.

Tru dat. That's why I said, buy the over restored car. You'll pay for the restoration. The car will be free.

I'm not casting them off at all, but I rather wait a year and get something I find more desireable. I think I've decided what I want that is within a reachable goal is a 250GTE or 330 America.

As to the smile, I can settle for an Alfa in the meantime..
