I'll be heading to LA in 2 weeks, and was wondering where is the best place to shop. Have my eye on a couple of TAGs i want to check out.

Also, can anyone tell me if the thanksgiving sales start before black (?) friday sales?
Also do alot of the stores close for thanksgiving day, or will areas like Rodeo still be open? Im not sure what day I will be in LA.

I was in macys for black friday sales one year, and it was crazy...

    Cheers,
    Ryan

It won;t help with the TAG, but the Omega Boutique on Rodeo is awesome.
Might also want to try shooting up to VTC....haven't purchased from them myself, but everyone here seems very satisfied (...and I'll try'em someday too)

You should contact VTC. He's a sponsor here with a couple of stores in L.A. Chris is a great guy and will treat you right. :)

    Another Q.
Is there ever any sales on the 25th? Day before thanksgiving at all? Or is all retail only?
    Cheers...

In a word: Retail is a serious mess. Most retailers are having a difficult (if not impossible) time funding Holiday inventories, cutting back and holding off on deliveries as long as possible. Some stores will be promoting all the way through the Holiday Season. Others will hang on to their margins as long as they possibly can. Manufacturers are having trouble factoring their orders. Credit lines are being called by the thousands. Sub-contractors are experiencing major problems having their raw materials financed. Chinese factories (the world's manufacturers) of all types are closing, throwing hundreds of thousands out of work. You get the idea - retail is a mess!
