    Hi all,

    I would like to remove the front end just enough to repair the fans and reattach the hoses, and remove the ac condenser

    I have never done this before, and I don't want to screw it up or scratch it.

    This is for my 328

    Thanks

    No need to remove the front end. Remove the front tire and then undo three of four screws on the shield forward of the wheel. This will give access to the blowers. I did this over the winter as I replaced the screws on the blowers with through bolts and reinforced the tabs on the blowers as at least one was broken on each blower.

    Need to clarify:

    look at your Owner's Manual; there are diagrams;

    heater blowers are in front of LHS wheel;

    AC condenser, front AC hose connections, accumulator/drier(I think) and fan are in front of RHS wheel;

    radiator fans are behind the radiator (in case you were talking about those fans);

    no need to disassemble the front for any of these;

    access to items in front of wheels is best by removing wheel and liner; added access to these is from under bonnet;

    access to radiator and those fans is under bonnet.

    Be vary careful with the bonnet; it's aluminum.

    There are two blowers on a 308, it sounds like the 328 is a little different but same means of access.
