What would you say the best way to sell a 308 is? I was thinking ebay, but since I live in Hawaii that might not work out so well. Obviosly on here is a good spot too, but where else?

I don't plan on putting it on the market for about one more month, but what all should I do to prep it for sale? I just did the timing belts (with a lot of help) and did a dye job on the leather about 8 months ago.

If you stay in Hawaii, just run around town with a for sale sign on it or put it in the paper. Make sure to indicate that it wasn't a rental, if it was then be silent unless they ask. There are plenty or people with cash thier that would love a 308 for cruising the island. Try what I said and it will probably be gone in less that a month.

I'd replace all of the rusty hardware you can find on the car with fresh nuts/bolts/washers/screws. I'd also update all of your service records and freshen up many of the 'replaceables' like temp sensors, O2 sensors, switches, relays, and fuses. I'd also inventory all OEM items that you've removed from the car since you've owned it, and ready them for inspection if you plan on providing them with the car. I'd also get a good, fresh set of documents for the car, and update the tool and jack kit.

In your location advertize in the local car magazines/paper. You will get much more money and less aggravation. Make sure it is well detailed.
