Do them all (except trade-in) and hopefully it will go to another good Fcar owner.

The Ferrari Market Letter should be your point of beginning. All the brokers and dealers read it cover to cover each month.

If your car has high mileage (as mine did) I suggest you sell it locally (Auto Trader type paper). Reasoning is as follows, mine was in exceptional cosmetic shape as I re-dyed much of the interior, paint was great, MOMO steering wheel, jet hot coated headers, re-powder coated air box, detailed engine compartment in general, lowered, alum shift ball, etc. It was a joy to look at in person, pics would not do it justice. The car had 99,700 miles on it and if I'd advertised it nationally, there is a very slim chance that someone would have driven or flew across the country to look at a 100,000 mile 308. As it turned out, I got a guy from Detroit to come look at it (didn't even ask the mileage B4 coming) and bought it for $31,000. My $.02, Jerry.

    Jerry got lucky :)

It depends how serious you price the car. E-bay is a good tool as advertisement but your pricing has to be right. It may not sell on eBay direct but it very well may attract someone that will contact you.

FML is an interesting source for special cars.

Local paper is good for normal cars, like Jerrys.

Dealer Consignment may be a good way to go. In the last few weeks I have sold 3 F-Chatters cars under consignment. They were all happy (I hope). With our flat fee commission they saved themselves thousands of Dollars and kept their cars till the very last day.

There are however certain cars that need to be seen in dealer showrooms. Classics for example. Even I bring some of my cars to specialized dealers I work with into their showroom so the car can be seen.

The newsletter suggestion is a good one. But what if I want to use a platform? Is it best to use the dealer (who says they can offer a warranty), or should I use Bring a Trailer or Ferrari Chat's new service? I'm a patient seller and want the best price.

Believe it or not, DuPont's Exotic Auto For Sale Facebook group is excellent for private sellers (I can send you the link if you want). Posts must be approved by the mods, and there are private buyers/dealers alike on there.
