I just bought some new wheels/tires for my 348 from an individual. Any recommendations on how to ship these? Any experiences?

I'd say UPS ground but they've got to be in a crate or heavy duty box to prevent the rims from being damaged. Also make sure they get insurance just in case they are damaged during shippng.

What rims did you get? Post a pic if you have one.

Make sure that the wheels are packed well. I work for UPS part time while going to schoool and they can be brutal on wheels. If the cardboard/wood comes off the wheel, it is a lost cause. If you can, have them shipped with the rubber on, this gives them a bit of protection, if not, just pack really well. If the package is over 70 lbs, it stands a lot better chance of surviving as it will not go on the conveyor belt system in the buildings. Just my .02 UPS cents.

i shipped 4 speedlines wiht tires on UPS ground. Put 2 wheels in each box. Put the face of the wheels facing in towards each other with 2 pieces of cardboard between the wheels. Then tape them up to form 1 unit. Then put them in a big ole box and ship em. I had no problems getting them that way and sending them that way.
