    FWIW, in the new Forza, in the article on the California, someone from Ferrari is quoted as saying they will offer a manual gearbox until emissions/fuel economy legislation make it impossible. I tend to believe that. There's not much $$ investment in offering an old school manual box.

    I agree, they should always offer it. However I think anyone can drive an F1 without knowing how to drive a manual. There's no automatic mode in a manual, and in my experience the hardest skill for people learning to drive a stick shift car is using the clutch properly.
