I carry a Springfield XD45 compact with the 10 round magazine. Fits me well, I LOVE shooting it and it wasn't the most expensive thing in the gun case. The 10 round (14 round optional) magazine was a selling point to me too. I figure that if the statistics are correct those trained in law enforcement hit their targets about 25% of the time in shooting situations. If true, I am going to hit less than that so I want more opportunity to shoot back at the 'target'. So far, so very good. I have put about 400 rounds through it...no jams, misfeeds or misfires. Love the gun and it basically disappears under a sweatshirt, jacket, or rugby even using a VERY cheap Galco Stow and Go holster.

I voted .45 ACP as I figure it makes the larges hole of the guns on the list.

 

No, not him. I know that guy, nice fellow, small hands so it is difficult for him to hold onto that kind of gun. He shoots at a popular gun club in IL.

45 or 357 either one. I voted .45, but if it's really my life we're talkin' about.....357 a little more confidence for me.

If it's REALLY my life...just give me anything.

 

Voted 9mm since it is the only hand gun I have ever fired. It felt pretty smooth and I was pretty accurate with it.
