I'd say new millennium Archie is broke & has plans to live off the Lodge's family fortune, Veronica suffers a highly questionable "accidental misfortune" which leaves her horribly disfigured. The result will have plenty of comic style litigation fun with divorce attorney, Jughead Jones. Betty becomes the main suspect during the trial, she panics & makes a run for it to Canada. This also goes horribly wrong she is kidnapped by the Russian mob while trying to hide, forced into prostitution & is never sen again but Reggie claims to have seen her on various internet porn sites. During all this it's finally discovered that Archie always had a GMILF attraction for his teacher, Miss Geraldine Grundy.

Short term, or long term? Betty is the classic vacuous blonde, perhaps a bit suspect in bed. But she will most likely hold together over time thanks to the intervention of a few good plastic surgeons. She will, however, be an incredibly high-maintenance companion best used as arm candy for business events and country club dinners. Veronica is the fun, sneaky-kinky brunette who can rock your world and then kick-it with the gang watching a football game over a few beers. Unfortunately, that lifestyle will catch up with her as she's destined to put on 50-75 lbs and end up with knee shooters. But Archie will probably lose his hair and start resembling Moose, so this is probably his best bet.
I say something besides him asking one of them will happen. Such as him finding a new girl or picking neither.
