This car, offered by Road Scholars 1959 Porsche 356A Cabriolet; The Pur Sang ?Pure Blood? | Road Scholars , doesn't look much like a 356 to me Built for a German duke, I am trying to find out what it was offered for in the '70s, when I first heard it mentioned but didn't pay heed (ah, the regrets would fill a book). I don't know why it was called Pur Sang.I thought that was Bugatti slogan meaning "pureblood" but since it was made by an outside coachbuilder (with Porsche's permission) it was as pureblood as Porsches made by Porsche was it? Anyhow like to hear what the car was offered for either before it got to Slick or afterwards but don't need to know what it's worth now, probably half a million.
