Beware Fabspeed Tow hook

I ordered a Fabspeed front tow hook and the threads aren't correct and IT DOES NOT FIT. It is not cheap and several hundred dollars. I've contacted Fabspeed and they never responded.

I took a gamble and went on Ebay and for $12.00 (yes, twelve U.S. dollars) and I received a tow hook that looks better, certainly fits and couldn't believe it.

You don't have to track and feel it just belongs there.

Not sure which model car you have but it has been mentioned in other posts that the threads on the 458 have issues with even the factory tow hook fitting.
All mounts should be chased with a tap, when possible, to be sure that the threads are clean and good to accept the tow hook.
This is something that is best done before you need to use the tow hook and not when a flatbed truck is trying to load your car.

I am not sure if this is something that could be wrong with your car, just sharing what I know is problem with our cars.
