It was a very small low key, event.

My friend went with the 250 cab and had a ticket for me but I didn’t have time to do the whole Miami there and back.

Maybe it’s just the photos I saw, but it looked like a neighborhood gathering, albeit a very exclusive neighborhood. Clearly, a few significant cars, but I guess I was expecting a limited gathering of the most exclusive examples. I guess it goes back to my earlier point that owners will become much more selective about where to take their cars. It’s a lot of work and expense to prepare and transport a car to these events.

Particularly with Monterey coming up. You don't ship these cars willy nilly. There was a reason Cavallino was held early in the year.

A lot (not all) of it looked like the inventory of any of a dozen south Florida dealers.

Odd timing, as it coincides with the GP de Monaco . . .

Two weeks isn’t much notice for an event like this. I haven’t even received an email announcement about it. Surely this must have been planned for months.

    I would trust Bottura’s cooking more than I would Enzo’s chef’s grandson’s, or whoever…..

Personally I like the food best in Bologna. :) But to be fair I didn't eat at Bottura's.

Our next trip to Italy will include Bologna for sure. Osteria Francescana has become something of a cult destination so I’d probably choose someplace more “rustic” in Modena or Maranello.

Would you consider it now more exclusive?
