Shame to see him go, he did have trouble this year though. Pedrosa did pretty well in the few 250 races I caught last season, but I don't know that I'd take him over Mad Max just yet. Only time will tell. Would be nice to see Max up against Mladin, get a feel where Mat (Matt?)stands in the grand scheme, but I doubt Max would go AMA, it would be sweet though.
He has been looking like an also-ran for a while, which is sad to say, but there comes a time in racing when if you had "it," you would have proven it already. For my $0.02 us, my interest in MotoGP lies with the emerging battle between Marco Malandri and Nicky Hayden. I think this has the potential to be a great rivialry.
