Q: Speaking of driving cars quickly, what are you driving these days? A: I'm still driving my Ferrari. It's a 458 Italia, and I just got the LaFerrari (the company's exclusive $1.4 million supercar), it should be coming soon. .......Seriously? Bieber exclusive: 'My life is not easy'
One would think that Ferrari is very careful allocating these cars, making sure they go to folks with long standing ownership history and at least decent public image. Bieber's owning that car makes it automatically less desirable.
Gentlemen, Do not despair. Let us make lemonade with this lemon. Beiber is just the owner who would gladly hand the car over to be tested against the P1 and 918. He's 'the beeb' and he does what he wants, when he wants. We've found our way in
https://www.yahoo.com/autos/s/justin-bieber-adds-ferrari-laferrari-collection-180055931.html Yep. Odds on how soon he stuffs it into a rail....?
Regardless of a press release, I imagine Ferrari has decided who and who will not own one of these vehicles. Can you imagine the press Ferrari will get if an accident occurs and Bieber is driving? I don't care for him and could care less that he has the money to buy one. However, he isn't exactly the type of guy that has impressed any one with his driving skills. Ferrari has exclusive control over these types of cars. They are dangerous in the wrong hands. Ferrari knows this. The last thing they want is someone to die in one of these type of cars. If we see Bieber in a LaFerrari, I am betting it is on a photo shoot. I may need to eat crow, but I doubt it. 50 Cent has plenty of means, but he even appeared with a "collection" of cars. Us in the know, know what is going on, but the average fan, doesn't have a clue. For the average fan, Bieber getting such a rare car is a must. They will see the pic and buy into the legend. Ferrari will get a boost in the NEXT generation. All will be good. Justin actually owning and driving a LaFerrari, well..... The best part is he doesn't even have to drive his 458, he has other "kids" that do that for him....
Ferrari doesn't have ''exclusive control over these cars''. They want you to sell it back to the dealer when you do decide to sell, but can't force you. I'm 100% certain that this LaF (IF he is buying one, and not borrowing it...much like his jet he claims he owns) would be second hand (no issue with that). I don't think the bieber fans are going to be such a boost in sales in 20 years for Ferrari that it actually matters. I don't know anyone buying a Viper or Z3 because the chaps from Nsync drove them in one of their videos (and justin timberlake is pretty damn famous/popular).
I remember Porsche refusing to sell a 959 to Boris Becker because he was too young when the car came out. How is this kid going to handle that beast? How are Ferrari fans to live with the fact that he got one from the factory?
Sad to say, but this car in his hands may be a Darwinian means to thin the gene pool. My personal opinion: he may be too immature and inexperienced. Most certainly it will get him in trouble. Just my $.02 I hope he enjoys the car and doesn't get into trouble. Not hating, just stating the obvious. Sent via itty bitty electrons
Ferrari was driven by criminals responsible for murders and selling drugs but you are disappointed about youngster who earn himself money and buy a dream car without parents help? This thread should be banned because is not worth anything.
while a very interesting observation... and I do agree with you... The thread being banned is a bit over the top. The first bit of theatrics was great though and an extremely good point
The sad thing is Bieber probably has more miles in a Ferrari than most owners. The kid made his own money so good for him. Weezy will be next, then Kim K will be tooling around in one! Exclusivity isn't what it once was.
