Sure gobbles up airspace. How fast is it?

Also surprised it rolls on grass so well with such small wheels.

This hobby would get frustrating to me because I'd want to build one I could ride in.

How do you tell what direction it's going in from the ground?

some drone cameras and an oculus rift headset could make this a cool VR hobby.

or just take flying lessons :)

    Gorgeous.
Fellow Houston F-Chatter Barry built one with a similar theme: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/141037076-post98.html

Brian - I believe that the AMA puts a 200mph limit on these jets, although I've seen a couple at my field that are almost surely faster.
The wheels are probably 4 or 5" diameter so no problem with well manicured grass.
All of my planes have 1-3" wheels, so it's have to be more or less a golf green to take off from. My field has a paved runway so not an issue.

A very nice toy. I'm with Jason, I'd build a bigger one next time. :)

    Sweet! Very nice!

Of course, with just a bit of camera work, that R/C model could look just like the real thing for a movie! :)
