Big earthquake hits Modena!

    A 6.0 magnitude Earthquake has struck near Modena in the Emilia-Romagna region at 4.04am local time!:

    I'm not sure if the Ferrari factory has been affected but it seems it could be likely.

    I just hope the death toll doesn't get much higher.

    My thoughts and prayers to all who may be affected!




    Edited to add: Inside Ferrari say: "Everything looks ok here in Maranello after tonight's earthquake.. Very sad for all the victims..."

    Probably affected some of the older F buildings? I'm sure their newer buildings are pretty earth quake proof.

    It woke me up last night but I live about 100miles from it so no big deal.

    Most of the damage happened to very old building or industrial building over 20 years old built when it wasn't mandatory to adopt certain building procedures.

    I didn't hear about new buildings being damaged.

    Tomorrow I'll ask a friend who works at Maserati if they had any problem.
