    driving to a rally hit 240km at 6500rpm lost power felt like slow down but no cat and ecu. tried to start ran rough with blue smoke, removed all spark plugs #1 cyl plug had lots of carbon and lost gap.any help.

    This doesn't sound good. Does the #1 have compression? Something had to hit the plug for it to have lost gap. 4 valves and 1 piston in that cylinder near the plug. If that's the case, pray for a broken valve spring and bent valve. Anything else will be MUCH more expensive. The blue smoke smell like oil? Either gets there through a valve guide (bent valve, broken guide) or rings (Hammered ring from extreme lean condition usually caused by a bad injector). In any case, you'd probably better take this one to a pro. Good luck to you!

    What plugzit said. Do a compression/leakdown test on the number 1 cylinder and go from there mate. It does not sound good.
