    Wow!

What a turn out! I can't believe the weather held -- and that we were all up so damn early!

It was a blast to hit those empty Boston streets with 4 sports cars abreast! I know that some of us hit some pretty decent speeds (I had to keep slowing down for you guys to catch up!)!

Anyway -- I am posting the pictures here: http://www.yuppieracing.com/gallery/

Please take a moment and browse the messageboard -- hopefully we can continue to have more fun-runs like this!

If you have any pictures or video you would like me to host, please pm or IM me and I will be happy to oblige!

    I still can't believe I'm awake!

    Guys,

It was really nice meeting you. I had a blast driving in Storrow Drive and those empty tunnels. Very nice cars and people too :)
Let's work on something bigger for the spring, I can probably get half a dozen guys from the Viper Club if we plan for it ahead of time.
Please post any pics and videos from the event.

    Cheers,

    Omar

Omar -- it was a pleasure meeting you man! Next time let's go from a complete stop, and let me turn of my TC (as it was retarding everything).
Your car is, without a doubt, fast and has the sound to boot!

There are some additional pictures in our forum -- http://www.yuppieracing.com/phpBB2/

I'm moving to NYC in January so this was the last event I organized in Boston; but my more then qualified apprentice, Karc, will be taking the lead. Heck, he planned this as much as I did.

I feel bad, clogging up the fchat board with non-fchat stuff -- so take it yuppieracing :)

I wish we could run again :-(

Thanks Nabbs and karc for setting this up! It was a great call to hit Boston that early on a Sunday morning. The cars, and the people I met were all very cool. True to predictions, the town was fairly empty which made for a seriously fun ride. It was similar to the film "Rendezvous" with one exception. The movie only had one car blasting through the city in early morning, we had at least a dozen......

    Thanks Again,

    Alex

Alex -- beautiful TR! It's a very photogenic car to say the least.

I uploaded some more pix as well, here: http://www.yuppieracing.com/gallery/antiheros_pictures/

I also have videos! The TR also looks and sounds amazing on video! Spivvy and Scott's cars come to life in the tunnels.

Glad to see you got a good turn out and looks like you had some fun. Sorry I could not make it but due to the horrible weather that was forecast for the afternoon I had to change my plans and drive Daughter back to college in the morning. At least I still got to put a hundred plus mile run in before winter hibernation. And once again I was amazed at how well my Spyder did as I hit some downpours on the way home. Looking forward to some drives in the Spring. Nabbs, good luck in NY, But not for your sports teams

Hey Karc, thanks for the pics - especially for having shots of my car. It's a little thing but a nice thing to have a pic of every car there (so everyone has a pic to take home).

Thanks a lot from my side as well, my AWD tt looks silly up on the curb, but I am ok with that. After 14 years, I have some seized rear struts, so I am about to lower the rear while installing new struts.

Being at the front of the pack, I was not in the awesome videos, nor did I witness the awesomeness that I am now seeing in the vids!! As much as I love my loud gutted exhaust, nothing compares to the 650 and that blue z06.

    Ry,alex- I am glad we have the sleepers of the show, I am used to it and actually like not getting too much attention. It's surprising that a bright blue WRX, RT TT, and a TT 300zx get little coverage. They are all awesome cars of their genre, and their era. Even the GTO Pontiac is well kept secret;

That's funny, cause here I was thinking, "Hmm, maybe I should get that WRC decal kit now to get more attention..." LOL!
