    as I understand the gear ratio in a TR is small(2.73) can you change these to bigger, also is there another replace gearbox/diff other than the 512 setup that will work on this car

    Good questions. I was wondering the same thing.
    When I brought my crown and pinion to a gear and spline shop to see if they could reproduce it, they indicated they previously had a customer who changed the ratios on his Ferrari. They couldn't tell me anymore than that.
    Because of the cut, offset....I don't really know, they were not able to make me a new crown and pinion. I'm in Canada and their machine couldn't be set to duplicate it.
