Hey guys (and you two, three ladies!!!!)

Well with the Spring upon us, a new battery, and other issues had me twisting wrenches!!

    Cooling system needed attention:

Radiator Fan switch: BAP GEON #823-959-481D
That hack came from Dr. Tommy's "1981 VW Rabbit" application, now in memory!

But I quickly hit rough sledding at the thermostat, o ring seal, and the tri flange housing gasket.
None of the houses had application data back to the 70s, seemed to be the main trouble.

So, off to the FoH Parts Department!
    Hurrah!

Everything together and ready to go, although I took the last set!!
#000105192 I think this is the housing gasket
    #109671 Thermostat
#000105189 this is called a gasket too, but one of these is the perimeter seal of the stat...

So I was "On the Road" again like Willie, in exchange for a brick of cash..

What were the crossover numbers I needed, for these simple bits???
    TIA.

Bleeding this takes effort, mainly by yourself., should I have drilled a second bubbler bleed valve into the housing, you think??

    It's back together now though!!

Well it was running before the dead battery!!

I always liked when I would call on my stored cars, and the guy brag he "had it running"....
It always ran, you dip sh^&%&^*%%&!

    Anyway thanks!
I kept only #22127, the yellow/black Boxer trim example.

Chatter arcticlighting has my #22641 back in the Pacific NW and it's almost done!!
