I'm headed to colorado in two weeks and would love to take my road bike with me but haven't any idea how I would make that happen. Has anyone ever put a bike rack on their mondial cab?

Those photos really make me cringe. Get a foldable bike, throw it into the trunk and call it a day Image Unavailable, Please Login
Made me cringe too, but I understand why you want to take your bike with you. Could you rent a bike once you get there? My Wife and I supply bikes, kayaks and canoes with all of our vacation rentals here in Central Florida, they are not the latest or greatest, but no one complains. There is a photo of a Mondial with a trailer hitch out there somewhere, now that was sacrilege, lol! Alden
Where there is a will there is a way. Watch the upper surface of the trunk with it being aluminum. Wouldn't want to make a couple dents in there. I like the idea of a trailer hitch. I would probably pull the wheels and put it in the back seat. Benefit of the cab, you can put the top down to load it.
If you car does have a trailer hitch, you should check out etrailer.com they offer different bike racks that (might) work out for you. Bill P.
. Get yourself a new folding bike... it will probably cost less than a good rack. These full size folders actually ride very good. Montague folding bike 2015 Folding Bike Models | Montague Bikes
if you are going to do this on a regular basis, I'd go with the trailer hitch/receiver option. It would maintain the access to the trunk and rear seats for other cargo and those racks that strap tot he trunk seem awkward. Get a 1" receiver fabed or installed to the frame under the rear bumper and then get a bike rack.
