I actually found this on a CDR that I burned when I was 20 (I'm 26 now) and after finally taking the time to listen to the whole bit I'm impressed. In fact I'm going say that if your a sports car enthusist of any kind (exotic, classic, or modern) I think you will find something in common with this Cosby's routine about F-cars, VWs, and of course the infamous Shelby Cobra.

this is at least 30 years old AND still one of the best work BC ever did ....

my long dead father absolutely cried laughing listening to this when I bought it which makes it one of my all-time favourites, Cosby is a comic genius who could bring a crowd to tears (saw him in LV) without any swearing or sexist comments, a true gentleman the rest of the comics could learn from

Yeah i almost peed my pants when i first heard it. I heard he sold the cobra to another guy who took out the twin superchargers and put in two turbos, then proceeded to drive the car off a cliff or something. The other twin blower car produced was Carrol Shelby's but i believe he sold it to a collector who still has it. It might have been restored but i'm not really sure.

I think I saw Cosby's Cobra in London a few years ago at a restoration shop. It was for sale. I'll check my pictures when I get home.

It might have even been Shelby's, I thought Cosby's was done for.

Actually I was at my old univeristy the other week and the shuttle bus driver was playing a CD with more of his stuff. If I wasn't watching my cash I would run out and snag a few CDs.

I'd love to find the classic old Bill Cosby routine records on CD. My friends and I would literally ROFL at those when they first came out.

("The Belt" was 24 inches wide with metal hooks ...) :)

Mr. Cosby also has an impressive collection of Ferraris.

I once had service on my 328 delayed (with my consent) while the shop finished up an overhaul on his 288GTO.
