Well, in my Language Arts class we were assigned a book report. It is supposed to be "wisely chosen" in order for us to gain the knowledge we need to help us along our chosen career path. I figure racing is somewhere in my future, so I'd like to find a biography/autobiography of a racer. I know there are several threads on books about racers, and several threads about biographies/autobiographies, but I searched and couldn't find anything very useful. The book doesn't need to be about a Ferrari driver, but it wouldn't hurt! :D I'm looking forward to any suggestions!! -kevin

Find one of the books about Mark Donohue. This covers many different types of racing, as both a driver and a development engineer, from Trans Am, to Can Am, to F5000, to Indy Cars, to Prototypes, to Formula One. There is a Ferrari connection, of course, with the 512 prototype.

I used to read driver bios pretty avidly. Stewart and Lauda were 2 of the best from memory. Lauda's "To Hell and Back" in particular.
