when I bought my 355 (the ex-Ed Niles car...the guy I bought it from got it from Ed. ) He took me on a test drive, and we proceeded to finish whatever was left of the tires that were on the car. We carved Topanga Canyon like it was a race track, and then proceeded to roast the tires on an off-shoot road.

Honestly, I appreciated the guys honesty....he showed me how he drove the car, and I was totally fine with it. Nothing to hide...

When I had the car checked out, the compression and leakdown were perfect. Some minor issues, but the car was in pretty stellar condition. They are robust....and I find that some cars just do better when not babied.

I've put about 15,000 FUN (read that how you will) miles on my car. And I don't care...I won't sell it. Whatever breaks, I fix, so it's a non-issue.

When I used to go the FOC club meetings, the guys liked that I drove the snot out of my car. They were always too scared to really let their's rip.

Good on you for enjoying it.

Thanks! This car is too expensive to just be in the garage and not enjoy it ;) she's over 120k miles now and still runs like a champ. Always give me a smile for the past 8 years.
