Googling for "uTorrent" or "ABC Bittorent" should work.

    I use Azureus...

    http://azureus.sourceforge.net/

but, you need the bittorrent client to actually download the video, not play it.

I use bitcomet, very straightforward, no config needed, that's all I asked for! :D

I second BitComet. It lets you choose which files you want (that way like if it's a CD and you only want 1 song you can choose not to download the other files) and it lets you download multiple torrents at once. No spyware either.

I've heard good things about Azureus but never tried it

i kinda wonder if the less people talk about bittorrent, the longer it will be able to go unfooled with by the RIAA and MPAA...

Actually, the creator of bit torrent transfer works with the RIAA and MPAA, unlike Napster and co. So, perhaps the outcome will be different ...

Do you have a firewall? If you're using windows' firewall, you'll need to go into the firewall setting and open that port yourself. I use ZoneAlarm, and I just "allowed" internet access to it, so it works okay.

If that still doesn't solve anything, and you're using a router, try: www.portforward.com and follow their instructions. This supposedly makes downloads a lot quicker.

You can either disable the firewall, or (depending on what type of firewall you use) open up that particular port. No matter what bittorrent client you use, this port needs to be open.

The official version is no frills but works fine. I've tried ABC and others but just stick to the official version myself. Great program and now becoming a business

torrentspy is a good site. Lots of them out there though lots of them get taken down to (like suprnova one of my old faves) and mininova is good also (fifth gear, top gear etc.)
