Wouldn’t both drivers have been disqualified for leaving their cars? That’s what happened in Ricky Bobby, so you know it’s a real bylaw.

judging by those pics I think they weren't the first and won't be the last to make that mistake there

if its as blind as it looks in that pic, cresting that hill must have been a terrible moment... knowing you had no prayer of making the turn.

im sure i've done some stupid things in cars, but I'd never go high speed over a crest like that on a road I didn't know well. My guess is neither of them would have either if they weren't out there pushing each other a bit. Or maybe they each thought the other knew the road? either way, a costly mistake I'm sure they both wish they could take back.

Surely the driver in the right hand lane would have seen that.

That is such a terribly designed turn.It is basically a dead end with the side-arm off of it to the left. It actually needs speed bumps at the crest to try and prevent accidents that most likely have happened there Many times before and caused them to build the fence. What a place to build a house. It must have been cheap. The pool makes a great catch all for the fiery debris that lands in it. Home owner's well thought out design I suppose. Never good idea to let one's ego get the best of him on an unknown road .

Pattern was full, but they decided to tandem-buzz the tower, anyway
