Let's talk about Bizzarrini 1900 GT Europa. It's very rare car and I can't find any correct info about it. How many cars were built? What engines were used? Only Opel or Fiat too? How many cars are exist today? There are no any period photos in the web...

12 cars are believed to have been made before the factory closed but there were a number of unfinished cars at the time of closure.... However many have been made recently by Diomante and cant be considered as real cars... Jack is the man to talk to here...

Why dont we list the cars we have seen here??

Good luck, if Diomante was building cars it will be difficult to get a count, there were many unfinished cars, at least 10 came to the US but I am not sure any of them were finished, nobody knows. Bizzarrini later built a few too, some for racing.

    that's unique, nice sport!

has 4 bolt lug pattern, so initially i was going to ask if built on an alfa spyder chassis...but italian link says something about opel 1700 or 1900 then?

in the pic ^^ i recognize the 246 dino...what's the other car, an alpine?

The rims on the Europa are not the standard Biz rims. The original rims would be 4 bolt pattern same as Iso and VW 4x 100mm.

    These are the correct rims

Yes but I believe the red car with the wrong rims is a original car.. It is in Koobs book.. I will check the VIN when home..
I cant post right now as my quota is full but will shortly..

    Dear Bizzarrini friends,

Maybe itis interesting for you to read the article in the October issue of Classic & Sports Cars.
Marc Sonnery did a great job and tried to make someting clear on the beautiful Bizzarrini Europa mysteries.

    Ciao,
    Jack

Michael Franze, now of Lancaster, CA, who has one intact drivable Bizzarrini Europa (red) one had six extra fiberglass bodies. He sold them all through the years but now 'd like to buy one ((anybody know of one for sale?)
or even the full size GT5300 Bizzarrini body in fiberglass if anyone knows if the guy who made one made any more than one and sold them. That guy had a website once which disappeared fairly fast from the net.

They did Turin, London and New York a lot. I would guess that could be 001 which was later crashed and destroyed

I spotted one in italy, during my visit last year.
Incredible to see it just standing there in the middle of a big city, in a square of a big building. I could not get any closer sadly.
