So the build numbers in your posts 19, 20, and 43 in this thread were simply wrong then?

 

I understand what Mr. Werden and you are saying. I assume that means that the car that was shown in Rome in March 1970 is the No. 3 car (which, if I am not mistaken, later became Dick Teague's personal car).

How does your research account for the fact that the No. 2 car (Monza) has modifications that the (supposedly later) Rome / Teague car did not have?

Please take a look at: central air inlet in the front hood, extra air inlets under the front turning signals/parking lights, second air inlet for the radiator, air scoops/inlets behind the rear side windows, additional air inlets in front of the rear wheels.

The Rome launch car is much closer to the original styling mock ups than the Monza car and the Turin Show car. The latter two clearly show evolutions in design which were necessitated by problems with engine and passenger cabin cooling.

How does that fit with the build sequence as proposed by you?

What is your guess and which publication is this then? Starts with "AUTO"?

 

Front hood has air dams around radiator exhaust openings. Front hood is bent upward at rear end to hide windshield wipers. Only Diomante would have the wheels from the Rome launch car in his shop...

You should do your homework, you complain about a Lic plate yet you call the color of the AMX gold when the color is P79 Bittersweet Orange by AMX. Please lets try to be truthful about these cars.
