Black/Black 430 convertible under 2k miles for sale in town?

It would appear that pretty much everyone from coast to coast has been notified about Steve's desire to own this car so if such a car exists he'll hear about it

 

Seriously! I've had people from coast to coast contact me about looking for this car. If I knew of one I sure as heck ain't telling anyone except the guy looking to buy

What's wrong with the nero/nero 430 spider on FoDs showroom floor?

 

Ours has a whopping 6k miles!

 

Okay, I have to ask. Why the need for a car with so few miles? These modern Ferraris depreciate anyways and the ones with a little more use seem to have fewer gremlins hiding. I assume you don't plan on driving the car very much, as that is the only time this makes some sense; for the next guy who needs a super low mile Ferrari. You want what you want, but I'm curious at to why? Keep in mind, this is from a guy who drives his near daily.

 

You might as well sell it for parts. I've been telling my wife that since our 430 has 22K miles, been driven in rain, snow and on tracks, no one would want it, even for parts, so we might as well just keep it!

Sure looked good when I saw it though - guess my standards are pretty low - but then again I have 39,500 on my 355 GTS - Amazing it is even still running.

It was my mistake for using the car, but I wouldn't want to burden anyone else with such an obvious pile of junk. Thanks for the offer.

Dave, you should donate your F430 to a local charity...I always hear on the radio they're looking for cars (even non-running is ok) maybe they'll give you a few hundred bucks for your Italian scrap metal.

Thanks for the reply, Mike. I attempted to talk to them about the car but they didn't seem interested in selling the car to me...I don't blame them since there's so few ultra-low mileage Spiders out there these days.

 

Too bad. The car is brand new inside and out.. They wouldn't talk price?

 

It's not that...it's just that I can't make the numbers work for me at their price. No biggie, it happens all the time and like I said, I don't blame them for wanting to retail it themselves.
