    Hi All,
Searched through the posts but didn't find a definitive answer. In the RHS footwell of my 1984 GTSi QV there a two electrical boxes. They are connected to what appears to be the factory loom. Found them just laying on the floor behind the footrest, but since found on the forum that the should be attached to the footrest. Can anyone tell me what they are?

    Thanks, BB

That is your buzzer and interior light time-delay. You should also find your Slow Down Light modules attached to the footrest.

An excellent reference would be the illustration in Section 5 of the OM for your exact year/model/version 308QV.

The footrest has a hole drilled in the center of it. You'll find that this assembly mounts with a small fastener in that location.

Thanks Brian, as the car is new to me I'm still learning things and I don't have an owners manual. When you say 'buzzer' is that the seatbelt buzzer? What exactly is the "interior light time delay"? Didn't find anything else there so not sure about the "slow down light" modules either?

Thanks Steve, is there anyone who might have a pdf version of the '84 GTSi QV owners manual? I haven't seen any reproductions for sale either?

    Cheers, BB

What version 1984 GTSi QV? Euro, or US, or something else?

Open door, dome light comes on. Close door, and dome goes off after delay.

Hi Steve, tried to email you yesterday but it bounced back.
Checked it and it was exactly as you quoted above?
    Is there a typo maybe?

No, that's my correct email address. Another option would be for you to send me your email address either here or in a "conversation".
