Was driving through Greensboro today and decided to do a quick stop at Foreign Cars Italia. A black on black Enzo is in the showroom floor. The dealer was closed so I do not know if the car is for sale or not, I saw it through the window.

I'd never seen one in black before. It is quite frankly the most badass and intimidating car I've ever seen. It was sitting between an F40 and F50, both in red....almost made them seem "normal" by comparison.

Anyone know anything about this particular car?

Oh, come on, Carb, don't hold back now...;)

That's the shortest post I've ever seen you write about a black/black Enzo.

They are pretty badass, though. Just a little. :)

LOL...! Short posts on topics I like usually mean one of two things: I don't know much, or I'm bound to secrecy. In this case, I posted everything I know - and I'm lucky I know that much!

They are badass. Just a little. If a little meant a whole lot more than a lot. :)

On a more serious side. After returning from a recent trip in the northern part of SC and the Highlands/ Lake toxaway part of NC I can say there is more money there than you can even begin to imagine. Very Very wealthy people.

The Enzo came however the owner wanted it. Unfortunately, most Enzos were liveried in classic red/red and red/black (red/tan in a few instances). But, like Lindsay Fox did, if the owner wanted something custom, all s/he had to do was ask. Enzos weren't built in pre-determined or pre-specified color combinations. They were built to order - all 500 of them. :D

    That's cold, Simon. You're cold.

For black Enzos in the US, here's what I have...
    131242: black with red leather.
    131631: red/red, repainted black.
132332: black with black leather - this is the one currently sitting at FCI.
132652: black with black and red leather.
132664: black with black and red leather.
    133022: black.
    133118: black with Cuoio leather.
    133918: black with red leather.
133924: black with black and red leather.
    133927: black with black leather.
134281: black with black and red leather.
ZFFCW56A430134282, assembly number 51321, engine number 78146, date of production August, 2003, Nero with black leather, large racing seats, red gauges, last-reported odometer reading shows 563 miles. I love this car with all my heart and soul.
    134294: black with black leather.
134952: originally red; rebuilt and repainted black.

So that's 14 total black Enzos in the US - and my records are not complete, so there could very well be a few more. Of those 14, 12 came black from the factory; of those 12, four are all black.

I hover. I crouch and wait, stashing myself in bushes and shadows, biding my time until the right moment when I can leap from the darkness and pounce on the information that I collect and have now presented before you.

...but yeah, it's online, too. :)

FerrariChat is one of them. There's a lot of information here. Barchetta.cc has a running Enzo register; information can be found there as well. Couple that with places like eBay, FML and Michael Sheehan's Website, where cars come up for sale, and information starts to come from different places. If someone just cultivates this information, then it's readily available; otherwise it's just scattered all over the place.
